Location: Capulet Mansion
Time: Sunday Night
Characters: First, Second, Third and Fourth Servingman. Capulet, Cousin Capulet, Romeo, Tybalt, Juliet, Benvolio
Events: All the serving men are getting the party ready; tables, lights etc. Capulet has a big speech to welcome all the guests. Romeo is walking around and spots a beautiful woman. He asks the Servingman who she is but he does not know as it is a masked party. While Romeo is talking to the Servingman Tybalt overhears his and knows that his voice is a Montague’s voice. Tybalt is convinced that he is here to ruin the party and Tybalt wants to kill him. Romeo walks up to Juliet and talks to her for a bit, then kisses her. They are interrupted by the nurse calling upon Juliet. The nurse said her mother wants to see her. Romeo finds out that Juliet is a Capulet and starts to panic.
